Q. So i was looking around amazon
& saw this phone & thinking about asking my dad if i can get one because i broke my other phone about 4 months ago , but the thing is i never seen anyone with this phone ! this phone is called BLU D510 STUDIO 5.3 btw ..
is this phone really different from like t-mobile , at&t & all that ? the brand /company is called "blu" are people gonna make fun of me for getting this phone ?
I do think this is a really nice looking phone & saw reviews on youtube . What does " Unlocked Android Quad Band Dual SIM Smartphone" mean ? i know that unlocked phones are when you get to use any sim cards for it but i technically dont know how it works . Is the company like virgin mobile or boost mobile ? cause i dont like phones like that .
Heres the link to it : http://www.amazon.com/D510-Unlocked-Android-Smartphone-5-3-Inch/dp/B007MOL3LW/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1345004046&sr=1-2-fkmr0&keywords=blu+Dsio+studio+5.3
I just dont understand why such a good looking & good reviewed phone has such a good price . .
A. I work on a lot of cell phones and have never encountered "Blu." Chances are is that it's a Chinese company that may use popular parts from a more popular manufacturer, like Samsung or Pantech (more likely). It may seem nice but there are things to consider.
If it's an off brand, expect off brand support. You won't see any software updates, forget about a good warranty, and customer service will be nonexistent. Sure, it'll work on AT&T or T-Mobile but they won't help you if you run into problems. And believe me, there will be problems.
Your best bet is to get an older device that has good reviews. Go to Amazon or eBay and look for single-core Android phones that did well but are a little dated. The Samsung Galaxy series is still a great phone and you can grab one for sub $200 with some searching. HTC, Motorola, and LG all have good phones.
which is best dual sim mobile? Vid'con, micromax, LG or Samsg?
Q.
A. Samsung I9000 Galaxy S
After using this phone for a week, I've fallen in love with it.
- Interface is very snappy.
- The screen is incredible. Very bright and the colours are outstanding, and just the perfect size.
- The AllShare app for playing content from a UPnP server is nice. At home, I can store my entire collection of music and videos and play whichever I want.

Where to get an iphone I can use with virgin mobile not for full price?
Q. I've wanted an iphone ever since it came out but it's so expensive. Recently, I learned about virgin mobiles beyond talk plan which is $35 a month. However, buying a 16 gb 4s from them will run me $650. I can't pay that upfront. Can I use an iphone from another carrier, say, bought from ebay unlocked or used and activate it with virgin mobiles plan? How about signing up for a contract with a company, forfeting it, then activating the phone w/ virgin mobile. Would that unlock the phone for use with VM? I'd like a 32 or 64 gb 4s as well (virgins is only 16). I've seen people on youtube cut sim cards from gophones & do it that way. Is that a legal & viable option? I really love the VM plan but cant see paying 600 for a phone when who knows when apple will come out w/ a new iphone & ill be behind the times. any suggestions or help please? It's much appreciated, thanks!
PS I'm not open to other phones, I really have my mind set on the iphone.
And I talked with a Virgin mobile rep...they said you can only use a VM iphone on their network (which doesnt really make sense if the other phone is unlocked but that's what they told me...)
I am now going for the net10 pre-cut micro sim card & $50/month service. The only problem is finding a used, out of contract iphone 4s with 32 or 64 gb for around $400 :(
A. Rather than going for Apple iPhone you can go for Samsung Galaxy S 3. You can get Samsung galaxy S3 at half the price as comparative to iPhone.
