Q. I need to be able to use external storage(especially cameras) with the Google Nexus 7. Since my camera uses a SD/microsd card and the google nexus can't take either, I'd need to either connect them together directly(in which case the camera is the storage device) or connect the camera's microsd card via USB. This tablet seems like a better value than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7, but being able to display pics from my camera on it is a crucial feature I won't compromise on.
A. Using stickmount will allow you to read your SD card (with a usb adapter) on a Nexus 7. This will require you to root your tablet, which may void your warranty.
There are other, similar apps that will allow you to read an SD card without rooting. The only one I have personal experience with is Nexus Media Importer, which is $2.99, but doesn't require root.
How to make Samsung S3 play music through micros USB?
Q. I have a alarm clock that my ipod is capable of connecting too. I want to sell my ipod and just use my Samsung Galaxy s3 as the music for the alarm. I bought a converter for and so my phone plugs into the charger (Micro USB). Is there any setting I can adjust so i can get the music to play through my alarm clock? I am almost using it as a dock, one could say.
A. No. You need to modify your adapter to include audio connections.
How to use OTG on Samsung Galaxy S III (international)?
Q. Hi, I would like to play with OTG on my SGS3. I do not have the official Samsung OTG accessory, but I figured that the charging cable, a female to female USB adapter, and a powered hub would do. However, it doesn't work. I've tried two different flash drives (FAT formatted) and a wired mouse that I am sure work. I can transfer data with the cable. I have no way to try the USB adapter though. Any advice?

Good luck!
