Q. So here's how the story goes...I really wanted to root my phone. But when i installed odin and Samsung Keis. The kernal that I installed was for sprint, and I didn't want a root for sprint. I wanted one for Boost Mobile. So Im wondering is there a way I could root my phone and still keep it on a boost mobile network, or is there a way in i could just turn it back into the way it was before i rooted the phone? Story short, I just want a rooted samsung galaxy s2 epic touch 4g on a boost mobile network. Or my phone back to normal with out the factory reset. Thnx (Im kindove a noob in rooting)
A. Rooting shouldn't affect what carrier the phone can be activated. activate the phone first and then root it.
FYI Boost Mobile runs on Sprint Network.

Is it possible to connect a Samsung Galaxy S II Phone to Virgin mobile or Boost Mobile.?
Q. Is it possible to connect a Samsung Galaxy S II Phone to Virgin mobile or Boost Mobile. If yes how like I know the phone has to be unlocked with a good ESN but could some confirm and reassure me before doing something like this I'm planing on buying this expensive phone since I liked it so much but don't want to a two year contract and a high monthly payment.
A. If you're planning to use the phone on Virgin or Boost, you should get the CDMA version. And if you plan to use the phone on SimpleMobile or StraightTalk, you should get the GSM version. If you want to get Samsung Galaxy S II without contract cheaper and get it flashed to Virgin / Boost, you can mail me to manchurianp@yahoo.com
