A way to watch international news on iPad?
Q. My mom wants to get access to foreign news on her iPad and possibly watch the broadcasts live via the Internet. Have any apps or mobile sites to recommend?
A. You'll need to download the appropriate software. There are several options available:
1. Elgato
Elgato produces a range of TV-related kit.
At the cheaper end, there's the £51 EyeTV DTT or £65 EyeTV DTT Deluxe, which are USB dongles that plug into your computer and TV aerial and can stream to your iOS device.
At the other end of the spectrum is the £180 Netstream DTT, which plugs into your router and TV aerial to stream live Freeview TV over your home network.
2. Slingbox
Despite its name, Slingbox actually needs you to sit permanently in your front room connected to your TV setup and router. It's a powerful bit of kit that effectively makes your home TV setup available from anywhere you can get 3G or Wi-Fi reception on your iOS device. It even enables you to watch and control your cable or satellite box from your iOS kit, meaning you can watch any paid-for channels you subscribe to.
There are three varieties of Slingbox - the SOLO (£120), PRO (£140) and PRO HD (£240).
3. equinux tizi
The equinux tizi is a standalone, battery-powered digital TV receiver. It picks up Freeview signal, just like your rooftop aerial, and transmits the high-quality picture over Wi-Fi to your iPhone or iPad. This means you don't need mobile reception or to be in range of a Wi-Fi network to watch TV.

How to make my car speakers bluetooth?
Q. I want to install a ipad mini in my car as a stereo. I have a older car, so I was wanting to make my speakers (including subwoofer) bluetooth. Is there any kind of device that I can hook up all my speakers into?
A. buddy, first..you cannot make ur 'speakers' Bluetooth
speakers take input from the stereo/head unit of your car or other device(such as mobile pads etc) via AUX / USB cables or the head unit connects to ur device via bluetooth and data(music, video etc) gets transferred/ streams from your device (mobile/pads) to your stereo/head unit and head units sends audio input to the speakers..
So it depends on the setreo that you are using, if it supports bluetooth that yes you can run music n stuff via bluetooth otherwise not..in some cases some other device like an bluetooth dongle can be used to provide the stereo with bluetooth but than again it depends on the stereo whether it supports that too or not.
get a new stereo/head unit nearly all support bluetooth nowadays..
