What is the best MP3 player for listening to audio books.?

Q. All the answers to this question are very old. Most of the players recommended in those answers aren't made or available anymore. I would like a current answer. I DO NOT WANT an iPod. I'd like the player to have bookmarking capability, FM radio, and a speaker. The speaker doesn't have to be anything great. I will only use it to listen to audio books when I can't use the earphones. Thanks.
I have the NOOK. It's a little big to haul around to listen to audio books.

A. The simple answer is that the iPod touch is the only Mp3 player out there that's current and does all of this plus so much more. The iPod has no real competition, just take a look at its market share. So either suck it up and get an iPod touch, or get an actual eReader or tablet. The Kindle Touch ereader does this (no FM radio, but it plays MP3 files) for $100 less than an iPod.

Q. I am mostly interested in audio books and podcasts. I would like to put some music on but not really a lot. I am also interested in many of the apps. I also noticed that I can get Kindle for the Touch do I need to take that into consideration when considering memory?

Q. I'm thinking on buying a Nook Tablet or a Kindle Fire but I want my e-reader to read to me without having to buy the audio book because i like to follow along with the words, and no one wants to buy the audio book and the e-book. So i was just wondering if the Nook Tablet can do this and if not can the Kindle Fire do so?

A. I have the Nook Tablet and I love it! Well it depends, you don't have to buy the audio books but it only reads it allowed if that option is available.
