Q. OK so im really stuck what to get my grandma for christmas. i can only spend £5-£10. I cant really do the photo thing as i don't have that many pictures of me my siblings or my cousins, and i cant really get her books as she has a kindle. so yeah any ideas would be apreciated! thanks:)
A. How about a nice soap set, they are cheap and grandparent love them. You could also get her a kindle voucher/amazon voucher, if you get them and tell her to buy some books for her kindle. Even though she has a kindle a cookbook or something might be nice? Good luck:D
My friend has got an ebook. Can I buy book vouchers for her, paying for the download of her book as a gift?
Q. Just like you buy book vouchers to be redeemed in the shop, can I buy vouchers for her to use online.
A. Sure, you just have to find out what ebook store they can shop in. For example, if the book reader is a kindle, you can buy them an amazon gift card and they will be able to use it to buy ebooks on their reader. If it's an Ipad, Itunes card will work. If its something else entirely, just look up the website for the device, it should tell you where they can buy materials and more likely then not, the store will offer the opportunity to buy vouchers.
How to change the currency on your kindle?
Q. I got two vouchers for amazon but they are they are in pounds. The vouchers don't seem to work on my kindle because the books on my kindle are in dollars. I want to change the currency on my kindle or just make the vouchers work because they are worth a lot.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
sorry happy but why would going to my nearest foreign exchange help?? i have a voucher cant change it to dollars and cant change my kindle to pounds. that's kinda my question if you can change a kindle to pounds and still use the voucher because ive redeemed it on an american email address and if i re-register my kindle to a uk account the vouchers wont work because you cant transfer vouchers from one email address to the other
also my name is spelled CiAra not CiEra
A. First, you don't set currency on your Kindle, but you may be able to change the currency when you are at the checkout page. See the section "Selecting Local Currency or U.S. Dollars (USD)" on Amazon Currency here for details:

However, I wonder you should connect to the Amazon UK store instead, if you've vouchers in pounds. Amazon Kindle US store and Amazon Kindle UK store are two different stores, and UK store uses British pounds for all items. You may want to do a switch on your Kindle, see "Amazon.co.uk Customers" section in here:

Hope that helps.
