What case is the best for smartphones?

Q. I'm going to get a Samsung Galaxy SII and was wondering what kind of case would be the best. Leather, silicon or a hard case - what's your opinion?

A. Get an Otterbox Defender Series.
Its by far, the best case available.
I had one on my Blackberry for over 3 years. When I finally got a new phone, I took off the case, & it looked brand new...

Q. so i got it like 5 or 6 days a go and the next day was a half day at school my phone was 100% and i got out at 11:30 and it was dead!!! it was also overheating or really hot at least. after i charged it it was fine and today my phone hasn't over heated and the battery lasts a lot longer now. was the issue just it was a new battery or what? did this also happen to you? also do you use an otter-box for your gs3?

Q. Alright, I have a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate smartphone-the screen being gorilla glass. For said phone, I purchased an Otterbox Commuter series case-but upon putting the screen protector on, I realized there was bubbles- so took it off. Tried again- now their was lint. I ended up taking the screen protector off-but my question is this. Do i need a screen protector for this, or am I just really paranoid? I
