Q. why are the smart phones applications limited comparing to PCs programs?
e.g. why is my laptop (CPU: x2, 1.9 GHz - DDR2 : 2 GB) can run program like Photoshop and my samsung galaxy note 2 (processor:x4, 1.6 GHz - 2GB ram I guess) Can't .
Is it the problem of GPU or battery limitation?
I know its a micro controller, what's the critical things that make these processors are so different?
thanks,
A. It's not really a hardware or software problem but rather a user interface problem. Complicated software like Photoshop simply isn't usable on a phone that has a small screen and no keyboard or mouse. Since people wouldn't enjoy using software like that and wouldn't buy it, companies don't spend the time or money to make software like that.

can I use my smartphone as a modem for an iPad 2?
Q. I have a Droid X2 that I use as a modem for my MacBook Pro. It not only has Mobile Hotspot, but also a USB ethernet option with PDAnet.
A. We have tried it with Samsung Galaxy S, and it worked no problem, it will work with your Android too. On the other hand, we used WiFi tethering, and I don't know the way to tether it via USB, so it will burn through your phone battery in no time.
