will a screen protector for a different phone model work on my phone?

Based on your question, you are trying to use a protector that is made for a larger phone on a smaller device. There is a very high degree of probability that the protector will not be compatible with your smartphone.

Q. Because I've been shopping online for a phone cover and some say I9300 and others don't; so is there a difference? Or am I just making a total ass out of myself?

the I9300 is just one model of those 11
this is the "international" version of the S III, it will work with GSM wireless companies only, but doesn't have any LTE support. thats the biggest drawback with it.

Q. so now i am using a samsung galaxy S3...... and i feel that this phone is just isn't right for me... i don't feel comfortable using this phone...... so.... probably i will change my phone as soon as my phone break...... so what should i change y phone to ?
