When will android games become as good as iPhone's?
Q. Android phones' market share is growing very fast right now.
But as I tried to browse for the applications and games, it's still far less than iPhone's.
If I buy Samsung Galaxy S (because it's a lot cheaper than iPhone and I won't have to queue for it),
can I hope that its games will get better and comparable to iPhone's games in few years?
A. Absolutely. Android is already selling more phones than Apple, and itâs been out half the time that the iPhone has. By the end of the year, the Market will have 100,000 apps, which is more than the Apple Store had at its 2-year mark. Plus, especially with games, Flash support will make Android rule in the end. Androidâs open-source nature will always be more appealing to devs and phone manufacturers because they can market to every carrier, and dozens of phones, instead of 1 carrier and 1 phone. The possibilities are literally endless as far as Android is concerned, because ANYONE can make an app to do ANYTHING on the phone. With Apple, they have to approve every single app that goes into the Store. They even rejected an app because it said the word Android in it- how far do you really think theyâre gonna go with that kind of closed-minded thinking?? I want to decide what goes on my phone, not the other way around..
which are the best android games..?
Q. i am having samsung galaxy s and finding some cool action games for it.
A. Nice, I have a vibrant and love it, the only problem is finding games worthy of its power.
Some of my favorite games are:
Ashphalt 5
Gangstar
(Both of those games you have to go to Gameloft.com and buy from there, they're like $6 each)
Another really cool one is an RPG with different endings and you can be good/evil called Zenonia it's on the Android market, and definitely worth the 5 bucks
Ones that kill some time are GameBoid, Snesoid, Nesoid, and any of the other emulators, they're around $3 each and you can buy Rom Buddy ($2.99), and that gives you pretty much every game ever made for all of the early systems.
If you like MMORPGs they're the Storm 8 games (Ninjas live, iMobsters, etc.) kinda like those Facebook/Myspace games
If you have the Epic 4G I recommend What the Doodle! It's like Pictionary but online
Gem Miner is pretty decent but it's kind of boring
Armored Strike Online is like Worms if you ever played Worms. You pretty much just take turns trying to aim at others and blow them up
Ninja Fruit you slice fruit and try to make High scores :P
Backbreaker football is a football game where you try to touchdown but other players are after you
And my last game is Sniper Vs Sniper, the controls are hard, but if you get used to them its a really cool game.
Sorry, I left the prices out on some of them, I don't really pay attention to the price when I buy apps, but if any of these games sound cool but they're not in your price range I'm sure you can find the APK online (I didn't tell you that (;)
