Q. I'm looking for a good xmas present (for myself), and my parents aren't really willing to spend 300 bucks on a new Ipod Touch 5th gen, so my dad recommended the Galaxy Player 5.0. I have been a steady fan of Apple products for a long time, but maybe I'll try something new. Is the Player better than the Touch? (my parents don't want me ruining my eyes on apple's tiny screens) Also, I'm still a bit shaky on whether the android app store is better than the itunes store. I don't want something as big as a tablet, but not something too small either (it has to be portable and not awkward to take out in public). I spend most of my time surfing the web rather than playing games, but I would still like a five-star app collection. How much would the price for a brand new Player be? **Please include a list of pros/cons for each device so I can compare the two more easily.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add:
Music takes up about half of my life, so I'm wondering if the Galaxy Player can support/download mp3 files from a computer/laptop. (I'm not very "technologically savvy", considering my young age.)
And which one is the better deal for its own price?
A. I love the ipod touch 5th generation better because:
1. It has retina display
2.it has 5 megapixel camera with panorama mode
3. 1080 p video recording
4. 170000 apps for the ipod touch only
5. Comes in 5 color: red,blue,yellow,pink, black,silver
6. It has siri! Your personal assistant!
7. The new ipod touch has a bigger display than the previous ipod touch
8. Motion control clumsy ninja, great game! And the black ipod touch looks just like iphone5,and the ipod touch like is a iphone without a simcard.
Where as the samsung galaxy player5 has:
1. 3.2 megapixel camera
2. Android 2.2 or something like that
3.720p video recording
4.I like apple apps games better
ipod touch 5g price: 32GB is 299$
64GB is 399$
samsung galaxy player 5 price:
8GB is 269$ but it can be up to 32GB with microsd card.
I think ipod touch is better and worth the price, but if you want a bigger screen go for ipad mini, the 16GB ipadmini is 329$
yes you can download songs, videos and transfer it to samsung galaxy player. And I suggest take a look at the kindle fire HD(under 300$) and google nexus 7 (199$ for the 16GB or if you by the 32 GB then it will cost 249$) and very good for their price.go to the link:

and also check out the ipod touch 4g,the price has probaby dropped.
Samsung Galaxy 5.0 mp3 player?
Q. i just bought one and it came with 5GB memory. It said it had 8GB memory, is this a problem or is it normal, should get it exchanged?
A. Yes, the player does have 8 gigabytes worth of storage but the operating system and all of applications take up quite a bit of memory. You can always delete some applications to save some room but the most memory consuming thing is the Android operating system. You can buy and/or get extra storage online that you can access on your player like Google Drive, which I have myself or you can get a micro SD card from any size range up to 32 gigabytes.
Should I buy samsung galaxy player 5.0 or ipod touch 4g 8gb?
Q. Which one is better ?
What has better graphics?
Which has fun games?
How much ram cpu gpu etc.....
And also if i were to buy the samsung galaxy player should i get the 5.0 or 4.0?
Thanks so much!
A. The iPod Touch has better graphics but a smaller screen. If you are looking forward to games from the Android Market or iTunes, they are both great sources of applications which are always being made better and better.
Good Features From Galaxy Player:
The Galaxy Player has a built in radio receiver that extends into your headset (and only with your headset). The Galaxy player has GPS feature that you can use anytime away from wi-fi zones unless you are routing directions to a certain place. The Youtube application. The 3.2 megapixel back facing camera. Support of most video types so you can put almost any video on it and it will be able to read it. Surround sound simulator for videos. Stereo speakers on the back. The microphone is great for video calling. It's a little more durable than the iPod Touch. Android Market. Syncing software. Operating System: Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Bluetooth (easy to connect to other devices). Long lasting battery power.
Bad Features From Galaxy Player:
The resolution display isn't the best (compared to the iPod Touch). You cant record with the front facing camera. If you are a person who really likes quality, the rear facing camera's video recording isn't in HD.
Good Features From iPod Touch: iTunes Market. Application speed (the processing speed). The retina display. The camera is OK. Organization of Applications. Operating System. Bluetooth (a little more challenging than the Galaxy Player). Multitasking interface.
Bad Features From iPod Touch: Poor microphone quality. Poor quality cameras.
Overall, I would choose the Galaxy Player because of how many more great features it has. If you are going to get a Galaxy Player, its up to you which size screen you get. If you want something that looks like it has a better resolution, you should go with the 4.0. But if you are a person who wants to look at things bigger and be able to navigate throughout the player better, you should go with the 5.0 screen.
