Q. Okay, so I know this is probably going to be one of the more ignorant questions on here, but I have an iPhone 4 and I'm needing to upgrade. I've been flip-flopping between a 5s or a Samsung Galaxy for a while now. I'm extremely comfortable with the operating software on iPhones and it's almost second nature to me, so I'm iffy about switching to something completely different (Galaxy). However, as time goes on I'm becoming more and more frustrated with Apple/iPhones like many people and Samsung has been looking better and better to me lately. They're supposedly more user-friendly/customizable too, which is really important to me.
My main question is this: Can you use iTunes for Galaxy phones, or do you have to stick to Google Play? I've never seen this addressed before so I'm assuming you can't. I use iTunes a lot and I have a good bit of store credit and I don't want it to go to waste by switching to a device that doesn't allow iTunes integration.
Also, any input/opinions/tips/etc from people who have switched from iPhones to a Samsung Galaxy is much appreciated!!
Thanks in advance ^_^
A. You and me are thinking alike. I have been an iphone user since the 3G, and product user since 2nd gen iPod nano. I have owned 4 iPhones and its been a hell of a ride. Between being the one in my group with the best phone, to the worst. Between the amount of money I've spent on repairs, etc. etc.
From all my research on the two types of phones, iPhone and Samsung. Samsung has come out on top, as dominant. Unless iPhone can stop coming out with the minor extra add ons and begin to compete with Samsung, there is just no chance.
I have not switched over yet, but my idea is switch over from iPhone 4s to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 w/Galaxy gear watch. I've played with and tested the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s. Difference between my 4s? Faster. Should be, considering the processing chip has improved. But is that anywhere near compatible towards to Samsung galaxy s4 or note 3? NO. Camera MP are awesome an important feature to look closely on, but all a matter of opinion and necessity.
Anyways, to answer your question whether iTunes can be used. According to this link from eHow, it can be done through a third party. check it out : http://www.ehow.com/how_8545753_sync-samsung-galaxy-itunes.html
What size headphone jack does Samsung Galaxy Q have?
Q. I'm going to buy IHome IB40 Headphones and I need the headphone jack size ASAP.
The ear buds that came with the Samsung Galaxy Q doesn't work anymore. Help!
A. The standard for all phones and galaxy's are the 3.5 millimeter ones.
Best StraightTalk phone?
Q. So, my family and I are getting a plan with Straighttalk while keeping our Reception with AT&T.
For the area that I am in, I have the choices for the; ZTE merit, Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, LG Optimus Q, Samsung Galaxy Precedent, or Samsung T528G.
Which of the phones is the best? Please give me as much info as possible and Thanks in advance.
A. The ZTE Merit and Samsung T528G will run off of the AT&T or T-Mobile networks.
The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim will run off of the Verizon network.
The Samsung Galaxy Precedent and LG Optimus Q will run off of the Sprint network.
So you can decide what phone you want according to what network your phone will run off of. Or you can read some reviews about each phone and pick the best one.
The phones that use the Sprint network are the only Straight Talk phones will truly unlimited data. If you use a Smart phone with Straight Talk that uses the AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon networks there is no guarantee that Straight Talk will block your phone from getting service if you go over on data limits. I have read that people were warned about using too much data on the Straight Talk network and their phone was blacklisted and they were unable to get service with their phone again. Just something to think about.
