Water Proof iPad Case?
Q. I'm getting an iPad, and I got the extended Apple Care warrenty thing, but I noticed it doesn't protect against water damage. So I was wondering if there are any cases for iPad that are water proof (Not as in dunking it under water, but like if you were to accidently spill a water bottle or you were near a pool and somebody splashed).
Any cases for under $100 would be great, and again, I don't mean 100% water proof, because I know those don't exist, but cases that would protect against somethine like spilling a water bottle just for long enough to clean it up. Thanks!
I'm not planning to use it near a pool or anything, this is just in case something un-expected were to happen. Again, we go back to the water bottle example.
A. Google is your best friend, really it is....
Search term: Water Proof iPad Case

All you have to do now is click the links to see what each of the cases looks like, and which one(s) fit you need for what you want as far as everyday vs when you want to be around water/sand/very dusty environments.
I have a buddy that puts his iPad in his backpack in it's fitted sleeve, and that then goes into a freezer style ziplock bag, to protect it from his water bottle/thermos, in case it were to leak. I do the same for electronics I put in my backpack, just to keep dirt and crud from getting into things while shuffling around in the backpack.
Looking for a good Ipad case?
Q. I'm looking for a case much like the official apple Ipad case. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about it, and I want something similar but better. What do you suggest?
A. Basically, Apple's iPad case is bad of one good reason: it's like a grease magnet. Your fingerprints will be all over it and it's quite difficult to wipe them off. There are much better cases which include the same functionality; for example Leather Folio Case by DMS, Macallyâs Book Case, ChiTekâs Leather Folio, etc. You can visit iPadCaseDen and read review for each of these cases.
