A. Samsung Galexy S is pretty good.
I wouldn't suggest the iphone 4 because it's quite slow and by breaking one myself by just dropping it I know its very fragile.

i am hearing impaired and called tmobile earlier on a relay service and spoke to a representative who transferred me over to another rep. from tech support. we went through the problems with both of my blackberries and the trouble shooting.. there was no resolution so the rep offered an exchanged for both lines to get the bold (i was having problems with both of my curves) i said i did not want to deal with blackberries anymore and if there was anyyway i could just get an upgrade. she said she could check.. well after she came back and said she would make both lines elgible for an upgrade.. she told me to go online or in the store to look at the phones to make sure i got something i liked. i said thank you and that was that. i went onto the website and only one of my lines were made elgible for the upgrade ( i am going to call that line the 88 number) when the other line (i am going to call 44) was still not eligible. i called back expecting to be an easy painless process but they end up giving me a hard time and transferring me back to tech support who would not do anything so i asked to speak to a supervisor, i then spoke to a supervisor (so they said & her name was megan) she told me that the 44 line was not eligible for the upgrade because it was just upgraded in july 2010.. & that the lady did not tell me i could have an upgrade because they could not do that. buttt, let me remind you.. the 88 number was eligble for an upgrade all of a sudden and i just had an upgrade on that line recently. i asked her why the 88 num,ber was eligble then and when was the last upgrade for that, she said december 2010 was the upgrade for the 88 number.. which makes no sense?! if it makes sense to anybody else tell me. YES THAT IS TRUE, I DID UPGRADE IN DEC. 2010 for the 88 number and july 2010 for the 44 number, so tell me why the 88 number is eligible for an upgrade but the 44 number isnt? they had nothing to say and this "supervisor" said her supervisor was in a meeting and she would have her call me back, which is doubtful. so i got off the phone wil them and spoke to customer service who said they were really sorry but couldnt do anything.. then i spoke to customer services supervisor who would not do anything either. LET ME REMIND YOU, IVE BEEN WITH T-MOBILE FOR 8 YEARS & NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT! AND THEY ARE GIVING ME A HARD TIME. so i decided i would like to cancel.. i called and the cancellation rep specifically said to me "why are you cancelling? because youre not eligible for an upgrade?" i said , correct & because i would rather pay 200 dollars for good service. he then tried offering me, a htc wildfire for 50 dollars & a samsung galaxy for 100. 1. i am not interested in neither of those, i just want an upgrade like i was told. those of you not familiar with relay services for the deaf - u can save them and i saved the one where the girl told me i could have an upgrade on both lines. NOW... i told the guy offering me i wasnt sure what i wanted to do yet and i was going to take a look around at different services and the phones they offered to see what i wanted...
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
WHO CAN I COMPLAIN TO ABOUT THE SERVICE?
after all the hassle they put me through, i did not get anything but shitty service.
HELP PLEASE.
um if you haven't noticed, talking on the phone - relay service is different for deaf people & i actually have proof that they told me i could get an upgrade so its not "talking" "on the phone. its TYPE on a computer, thankss mr. know it all (;
and tell me the "MULTIPLE" times i brought up me being hearing impaired . sure it was only once . thanks!
A. I Know TM very well and the more you call in the more stress you will feel. It is a game that they play. TM rewards those who have short call times even if it means they hung up on the customer. They did not do what they are promised so aside from a court battle then they will just run you around the block. From now on record all calls as proof depending on the laws in your state. If they know that you are recording them then they will refuse you customer service and put you on "written correspondence only" They even did this to an attorney.
You may have a claim against them under The American Disability Act. Look under the web site for NAMI which is mostly for people with mental disorders and I know that yours is not ,but it explains that telecommunications company must not discriminate against you because of your disability.
It is a bad time to T M phones since they are merging with att. ATT says that once the merger goes through then you can not use your TM phone with them. Thus all TM phones will be useless and you will have to pay more early termination fees if you refuse to go to ATT and pay much more for much less.
