A. Seagate have a mobile wireless storage Hard drive that connects wirelessly to your ipad. They currently have a 500GB model.(Remember Hard drive prices are rising due to floods in Thailand)

A. check with apple & you will find that it is not a computer, it is not designed to a replacment for computers.
you will be able to use it as an ereader like kindle, play music like your ipod touch, view videos online though it does not support flash so thats about half the videos on the net you cant watch plus it has an aspect ratio of 4:3 which is not widescreen & your vids may look stretched out of shape.
you will be able to browse the web but not download anything except through itunes.
no usb but you can buy the usb adapter, it is too big to type by thumb taps so it must be set down to type, but the problem is that it has a curved back causing it to wobble when typing, forcing you to buy the optional stand & keyboard.
basically it is an ipod touch & ereader, nothing more.
personally i think it's a great product, the only thing i can think of that would make this better is if they can shrink it down so it can fit in my pocket.
