Q. i need to know because i want to buy this case and its only for the samsung galaxy
A. Here are dimensions of Samsung Infuse 4G: 5.2" x 2.8" x 0.35" and Galaxy S II: 4.96" x 2.6" x 0.35". As you can see, both devices carry different sizes and cannot use the same case.
Should I get the SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 SKYROCKET or the iPHONE 4?
Q. I plan on getting virgin mobile, simply because I don't want a contract (please don't try to convince me to get a contract service such as Sprint either). However, with virgin mobile the iPhone 4 is $549 and the Samsung Galaxy s2 Skyrocket is only $369. I've done alot of research & looked at a bunch of reviews, and I'm leaning toward the Skyrocket for more reasons than just the price. A little advice, or push in the right direction is all I need. Especially since my parents aren't helping pay, I want my money to be well spent.
A. If you want to be classy and look professional(not saying the s2 is not) get the iphone.....but if you want a more customizable and more stuff to do on it get the s2..... and the s2 has a better camera then the 4...
In my opinion i would get the s2 or wait until they get the s3 or iphone 5.......in that case i would get the s3
What's the difference between iPhone and Samsung Galaxy ?
Q. I'm a total ignorant when it comes to smart phones, but guess what, I want to buy one to look cool.
I heard that iPhone and Galaxy are the best 2 smartphones now adays, what's the difference between them ? and which one is better ?
A. Operating System:
iPhone 4 comes pre-installed with Apple's new iOS 4.x.x that includes more than 100 new features.
Samsung Captivate is powered by Android 2.1 that offers a slew of customizations including the ability to add widgets and custom alerts.
Display:
iPhone 4 comes with a gorgeous 960x640 pixel retina display, which is one of the major features of the new iPhone. AT&T Captivate, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 480x800 pixel Super AMOLED display.
Hardware:
The processor power of both these devices are impressive. Samsung Captivate is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor with a 512MB RAM. The iPhone 4 on the other hand, is powered by Apple's native A4 processor that too runs at 1GHz and comes with 512MB RAM.
Camera:
Both Captivate and iPhone 4 come equipped with a powerful 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and support for 720p HD video capture. However, Apple wins the competition hands down due to the availability of LED flash along with support for on-board video editing features and video chat functionalities.
Compatibility:
Folks at TiPb point out that the Captivate may not be an ideal device for Mac users. Unlike the iPhone 4 which only requires the user to plug into iTunes to sync content, the Captivate will require several workarounds to achieve the same task. Also, MobileMe users may find it difficult to restore content while switching handsets.
Battery:
Heavy users of smartphones may find the battery life offered on Samsung Captivate disappointing. As many of our readers have noted in the past, the new iPhone 4 offers significantly improved battery life that comfortably lasts for a day in most cases. However, this may not be the case with the Captivate and as TiPb points out, the battery may not last a work-day if you are a heavy user.
