My friend also tried putting regular earphones in but they didn't fit so you have to get special ones meant and fit for the iPad
I'm sure if u you go to an apple store or something they will help u find one.

Q. Are earphones included? Is the 'The new iPad with retina display' (the new one that came out here in england in october, the next one up to 3rd generation, but its not called 4th generation its call the new ipad with retina display, and it has io6 and all that...) Is it any good? Are ipads good basicaly? I'm paying half, and its for christmas so the last girl that commented saying I'm a spoilt brat, getting this means I can't have a birthday gift, and I'm paying half, and I'm selling my laptop to put money towards it so, no its not 'daddy's money'... A. Hi,
I have the new iPad with Retina display. The iPads are very solid. This one doesn't come with earphones.
This is what's good about it.
1. Faster processor (double the speed of the iPad 3).
2. "Retina display", the term is used to describe the screen. This is Apple's claim that the pixel density is so high that your naked eye can't notice the pixelation. It is super clear.
3. Better front-facing camera. The iPad 3 came with a 0.3 megapixel standard definition camera, whereas the iPad 4 comes with a 1.2 megapixel HD camera. It is noticeably sharper.
The iPad is great, but personally I don't think it's a laptop replacer. I take it to night school to do simple word processing (but I bought a bluetooth keyboard so it'd be more efficient).

Ipad 2 or a laptop only for entertainment?
Q. I am going to a highschool that gives you a new lenovo thinkpad. It's always that years newest version. The problem is they take it over the summer to install new versions of everything and you can really only use it to do schoolwork. So my question is should I get the ipad 2 sheerly for entertainment and not work or a laptop for the same price only for entertainment. I know laptops are better for work but I wownt be doing work on it.
A. For gaming, music, and movies, I would get the iPad. Gaming is fun on it because it's a touch screen and for some games tilting is part of playing. It's like an iPod too, so you can have your music on there as well and just plug in your earphones. You can get netflix and some other movie apps on iPad, and then just use a smart cover or another case/stand to prop it up by your bed or something.
The iPad would be better since it's not for work.
