What can i expect if i Buy a Boost Mobile Phone and Plan? Good and Bad?
Q. I want to know if it is worth going into a contract with them? I live in wisconsin and i was looking at Verizon, Verizon is too expensive until i get a better job and i'm out of college. Sprint sucks for coverage and is like $10 less. AT&T sucks for coverage and is expensive. So i found Boost Mobile and i was looking at the Samsung Galaxy Prevail. What are some of the GOODs and Bads that i could expect?
A. The good: You get okay service at a cheap price.
The Bad:
1)Their phones are way overpriced for how crappy they are.
2)Boost says you can get "unlimited" text/web in some of their plans, but really they mean "unlimited within reason". It even says it in the brochure. They'll cut you off if you do it too much.
3)The coverage isn't bad for a cheap service, but there are certain areas (mostly rural towns) that get NO coverage
4)Their customer service representatives are incompetent. If you have a problem, never expect it to get fixed.
You can buy their phones at a Boost Mobile store, or Radioshack, for sure. Some other companies sell them, but only sometimes. As in, not all of their stores have them.

Q. I'm looking for the samsung galaxy prevail, but I can't find anywhere even the Boost mobile website.
A. boost mobile website are sold out at this time and they are saying that the retail stores like radio shack and wal-mart will have them on may 15-16 but if you want it before then you can get one off ebay but there going to cost alot more than what you can get at the retail store if you just wait.They are selling the prevail for over 250 dollars some are selling them over 325$.And thats at ebay.com just type in Samsung prevail hope this helps
