Q. Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon and am under a 2 year contract. I am looking to terminate the contract to move to Tmobile monthly 4g. I know you can put a tmobile sim card in your phone if it is unlocked, but I do not know how to unlock it. Does anyone know how?

A. You would have to call Verizon to unlock it, and they will only do that when the contract is complete and paid in full.
Why is there an icon next to my contacts on my android phone?
Q. I just got the samsung galaxy s from tmobile. I noticed that all my old contacts from my other phone have an icon of a persons head on it, but all my new contacts have an icon of a phone. Why is this? And is this part of the reason that I can only add people with phone icons to my "friend" lists?
A. The contacts page on my SGS looks like this, from left to right-
-Head and shoulders icon ( or photo if I have that persons photo set to appear on screen when they call )
-Name of contact
-SIM icon ( to show that I am using contacts from my SIM card -- If i was using contacts stored in the phone memory it is a phone icon )
What phone should i get? Motorola Triumph or Samsung Galaxy Exhibit?
Q. Between the Motorola Triumph from Virgin Mobile and the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 46 from Tmobile which phone should i get? The motorola is $229 right now plus $35 for the monthly card, the samsung is $179 online plus $50 for the card. Ive heard bad stuff about the motorola but then again i want it cause its big, i havent heard anything about the samsung phone yet though. Anyways someone help me figure out what phone i should get?
A. Samsung Galaxy Exhibit!
The Galaxy Exhibit is a 4G phone, runs on 2.3 Gingerbread, 3MP camera, VGA front facing camera. You will get T-Mobile's nationwide coverage and fast 4G speeds. I recommend the $60 plan monthly though for this phone, if prepaid is what you're going for.
Motorola Triumph is a 3G phone, runs on 2.2 Froyo, 5MP camera, front facing camera. Virgin Mobile doesn't have as much coverage as T-Mobile so you won't get fast speeds and coverage compared to T-Mobile.
