Q. I'm due for my upgrade and wondering if the Samsung galaxy note 2 is worth the 150 more than the note 1or will the note 1 with an upgrade be fine? The galaxy s3 is also a possibility.
A. I just upgraded my galaxy Note 1 for a Galaxy Note 2. I am so happy that I did! It is blazingly fast, has a much more sensitive stylus, multitasking, memory, really great extras...like face recognition, etc.
The thing is, Samsung is good at giving updates, so the Note will be upgrading to many of the the things the Note 2 has...but the processing is slower. Much slower...so after some time the Note 2 will be able to do much more that google offers--and app developers give (like powerful gaming).
The only downside of the Note 2 is that you can't install apps onto the SD card. I think that is the way most of the latest jellybean devices are. But you can get a Note 2 with up to 64gb of internal memory! And expand it another 64gb! Its basically a powerful computer. I love it. Multitask as much as you want. Play videos and browse and see 2 windows open...all at the same time! And no hiccup! The phone is a great leap forward and will be a powerful phone even after a year or 2.. But if money is a real problem, the Note 1 won't disappoint.
when is the Samsung Galaxy S3 64GB released in the US?
Q. Is it already out? and is it out in all major US cities at the same time?
My sister is going to the US to visit my some relatives in mid July and she was wanting to purchase the 64gb version as it is not released yet here in Australia (it wont be released till late August apparently) and it will be much cheaper.

A. It uses a Micro SIM, just like the iPhone. There are 3 different memory options available for the S3, including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Please note, the S3 also includes a Micro SD slot which can suppor a Micro SD card up to 64GB in size.
