There are many custom ROMs available for your T-mo SGS2 :)
Android Open Kang Project(AOKP) is one of them.
YOu can find all of them at XDA Developers(your phone's forum is given in Sources.
I prefer reading a bit, rooting your phone safely and with caution. And then proceed with AOKP ROM.
Be careful that the UI won't be same as Samsung Stock anymore. Also, if done improperly, you can transform your phone to a paperwight!
