The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 would indeed be the superior choice due to being the lightest - but not just that, the screen ratio is much, much better suited for comic-viewing (the iPad 2 is, er, too square-ish).

Video movie tv shows purchased through the iTunes have DRM license encryption to prevent users putting the movie anywhere but on apple media player like ipod ipad, etc. Samsung Galaxy Tab is not an iTunes compatible device. If you want to get movie from itunes to samsung tablets, I would suggest removing DRM from iTunes movies, here is a step by step guide for your issues:)
