What is the best way to lose the dry feeling you get in the winter time?

Q. Please, nothing overly simple like apply lotions, use hair conditioner, etc. I mean if you have something really unique and specific that works for you involving lotions, bring it. But make sure its cool and not boring if you want my 10 pts. I'll also take answers like ... drrive south to a warm beach. Cause I'm desperate. Im like dry friggin kindle... help!

mark in philly

A. I'm from the north, although I don't live there anymore. I find that the best way to beat dry skin is to avoid salt, caffeine (easier said than done : ), and keep a diet rich in olive oil or other healthy fats such as salmon, nuts or avocado. Drink lots of water, avoid processed food. I never would have believed this until I tried it myself. It's like eating your moisturizer!

Original Question

I am getting a kindle, should I get a case or a sleeve for it?
Q. I have read reviews for the cases, the ones with the flap and everything that you keep the kindle in at all times, even when reading, and most every case someone complains about the case staining the kindle....I am getting a skin for it, and I don't want to stain it or the kin. So that's why I was thinking the sleeve. But with the sleeve, you have no protection from drops. Unless I get a silicone case too. What do you think is the best option?
Thank you.

A. Yes, get a case or sleeve.

If you read questions here on YA about the Kindle a lot, you'll read about broken screen after broken screen. It needs some protection when not in use.

I don't think skins protect the screen. I'd get a case or a sleeve. I personally use something called a Belkin Grip Sleeve.

Original Question

What is the kindle skin case?
Q. I knew someone who had a skin cover for his cell phone and it was basically a sticker that you put on your phone. I just wanted to know if it was the same for the kindle 3?

A. It's pretty much the same. Some have a tiny bit of padding on them, but you're basically looking at a sticker.
