-An IPad 3G?
I can get both of these things at a deep discount. He is a computer geek and phone geek, but I know he doesn't have either. Hmmm.
A. The Blackberry sounds great but its more for teenagers because of the tiny keypad and teen features but the iPad sounds even better because it can do alot... even with learning more about phones.
Why would anyone want an ipad when they could just get macbook air?
Q. typing on ipad is a pain in the ass compared to a real laptop. why don't they just get a superlight laptop to use at the airport or where they need to use it. when they put the ipad cover in a vertical position it looks just like a laptop without the keypad..
A. Because the apple laptops are a minimum what...$1000? I got my iPad from my sister for $350
What's an ipad good for other than showing off and playing games?
Q. Like, what can you do with it? I Does it have a practical purpose/use?
A. Web browsing, books, PDFs. Emails, navigation.
Couple of examples that came up for me that I could not do before...
On the road I was able to use the 3G and see where a good hotel was and read reviews
I've had documents and contracts emailed to me on the go and was able to read and share with a client as if I had the pages in front of us.
Show off some videos to people
Watch movies on the go with Netflix
Instantly pull something up on the web, easier to navigate.
I know a few languages so the virtual keypad can switch out so I can write in them.
