Q. I have Zagg Invisible Shield installed on the back of my ipad 2 and I was planning to buy an ipad 2 dock from Apple but I'm kinda concerned it would not fit perfectly with the added film at the back.
A. It will fit absolutely perfect. Definitely do yourself a favor and get a Zagg. The merchandise I own that I have put Zaggs on all look brand new, fit the the docks that they make for them with the zagg on and make it easier to see the screen during the day. It will fit so go get it before you scratch the iPad because any of these electronics scratch SO fast these days from nothing!!!

Q. will the ipad keyboard/dock work even when not plugged in in to a wall outlet? does the keyboard charg as the ipad charges when plugged in?
A. Do not listen to the other person because he is (mostly) incorrect. I own an iPad and the keyboard dock. The keyboard has no battery of its own, instead it uses the iPad's one. It does work when not plugged into a power-point, and you can charge/sync with the keyboard in use.
