Q. My phone (the lg optimus logic) does not have screen protectors anywhere. I've searched multiple websites so I was considering getting one for a phone that's larger than mine, such as the galaxy s3 (http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php). will this work if I cut it down to the size of my phone?
A. These types of phone accessories normally come with a listing on the box of what model phones they are compatible with. While most smartphones these days look very similar to each other, there are subtle differences that make one type of protector incompatible with many phones.
Based on your question, you are trying to use a protector that is made for a larger phone on a smaller device. There is a very high degree of probability that the protector will not be compatible with your smartphone.
something being sold from a Wholesale seller doesn't mean the item is a fake knock off, right?
Q. It's a top rated seller on eBay selling a Galaxy S3 new, unopened for $499, which is 50 less than Sprint and Samsung themselves without the sales tax.. And what the hell does this mean? "The Front Screen Does not have the Plastic stick on it." No screen protector or something?
A. If it is unopened, how do they know the front plastic sticker is not there?
In other words, it is NEWly refurbished, and unopened since it was repacked.
Is it okay to screen Samsung Galaxy S3's screen with alcohol?
Q. Just got some screen protectors from the mail, and I just have one question to ask. Usually when me and my dad applying screen protector to the device, he always clean the screen with alcohol. And the screen seems to be fine with the iPad 2 and the iPod Touch 4th Generation. But I am not sure that if the alcohol will hurt the screen in anyway, if I clean the screen with alcohol. Is it okay, and plus, is it really necessary to clean it with alcohol? Or I can just clean it with a fiber cloth then apply the screen protector? Please, I want in-depth answers, not just like one word answer like "yes" or "no". Thank you.
A. Any glass or lens cleaner should work fine, and I don't image IPA will hurt it either. It does clean easily with just a dry cloth, but it seems your father want to do a bit of disinfecting as well? The only thing I would be wary of is anything with acetone in it, that might affect the plastic.
Have nice day
