How much Verizon wireless charge to activate a new phone?
Q. my fiance bought me a Samsung galaxy note II, and it came in the mail this afternoon. i just need to know how much Verizon charges for the activation fee. and do i need a Sim card now?? my old phone(LG Cosmos 2) did not have a Sim card.
A. Where did he buy it? From Verizon's website or a third party (such as on eBay) or a authorized retailer (such as best buy)
From Verizon, it came with a SIM card. If it was for a new line of service $35 activation fee. For an upgrade, $30 upgrade fee, full retail no contract on an existing number, no fee.
If it was a third party, you must go to a corporate store and get a SIM card. No fee.
If it was an authorized retailer, check with the retailer.
