Q. How can I fix my front camera ony iPod touch 4th gen? I don't want to take it to the apple store it fix it because Christmas is a couple of days away and I'm asking for an iPad. I need the front camera so I can oovoo and FaceTime my friends. The back camera works but the front doesn't. Everytime I hit the camera app and try an switch to the front camera it freezes and the bottem where you can switch to video starts blinking. I've dropped my iPod in the pool a lot of times so this might be the reason the camera doesn't work but the rest of the iPod works so I don't get it. There's also a crack on the side where I could rip off the screen if I wanted to.
Oh and it's never been jailbroken
A. I got an iPad for Christmas, actually (but it's an early present and only 2nd generation).
You will have to replace your screen. It's totally jacked, and I bet it's from all that water damage. The camera is especially sensitive. Believe me, I know.
Don't take this the wrong way, but try to be more careful with your electronics if you're not paying for them. As you know Apple products are quite expensive, especially iPads and if you drop THAT in your pool one time, much less several,....
Point blank take better care, sister!:P I'm not trying to point fingers as my iPod screen is cracked to Hell and back and I somehow broke my digitizer the other day so I can't even use it as this point. Just suggesting(:
Sorry about your camera, mine is shot, too,
Becca
I broke the screen on my iphone. Where can I get a new screen online?
Q. The touchscreen still works so the LCD and digitizer still work perfectly great, even in the area that is cracked into a million little pieces.... Do i still need to buy a new digitizer or is it possible to only by the front screen itself?
A. Hello
I have just found this site where you can get free gifts like an ipad 2, iphone 4, and many other things, you just have to follow this 3 steps>
1.- Register at
http://doiop.com/appleoffers
2.- Complete one offer, some of them are completely free.
3.- Refer your friends and enjoy your gift once your friends have registered.
Is there any tablets that are made specifically for drawing?
Q. I don't really want an iPad but is there tablets made for sketching, painting
A. Tablet is an over used word now of days.
Tablets can mean several things: ipad like things, digitzer like things, and cintiq like things.
First of, yes, there are 'tablets' designed for drawing, the are called 'graphics tablets' but they used to be called 'digitizers'. They won't be anything like an iPad. Essentially you draw on them by hooking them up to your computer. The 'display' will be the computer screen and you will not be able to look at your hands as you draw, but instead follow the curser on the screen. This requires a new level of hand-eye-coordination that will take times to master, but professionals and hoobiest use these devices because they work. Think of learning how to type. When you started you needed to look at you hands to write because it was alot like writting with a pencil...you needed to 'see' yourself doing it to get it right, but as you got better you stopped looking at your hands and just looked at the screen...this took time to master but you did eventually learn how to do it. ^_^ (I'm assuming you did ^_^)
Anyway, there sadly are no 'tablets't designed for drawing that are like ipads. The ones that are...are called "LCD Pen Displays"...and essentially, they are in the 'cintiq' catigory of 'tablets'. They allow you to look at your hands on screen as you draw. The must popular and well used prand of 'tablet' like this is called the "Cintiq" from Wacom. They sound like the best choice...because...they are...but sadly, they cost upwards of $1000 dollars. ...Yes, they are ment for professionals.
THe other type of 'tablet' would be an ipad. You can draw with an ipad, but I don't recommend this. IPads have no 'pressure senstitivity', which is the ability for the tablet to sense how hard or soft you are pressing with the pen. Which means the line thickness will not change and emulate realistic pencil strokes. Along with that, to use an ipad you'll have to buy a styles, and they can be exspensive (30 bucks plus) and they drawing programs are limited to things like...Autodesk Sketchbook...which is...not the best thing. And because it cannot be hooked up to your computer and used like a graphics tablet...it will end up hindering you in the end if thats the only thing you bought it for. I wish hey would make graphcis tablets like that, but the tech is to exspenive right now. >.<
Anyway, I rcommend you got to Wacom.com and check out there Bamboo selection of graphics tablets. See what they have to offer. There are alterntivs like Monoprice graphics tablets, but I'm not sure of there quality... the best tablets in the world are from Wacom, others arn't as good, and thus arn't as exspensive, but they will get you from point A to point B...which is their whole purpose. So, its your choice, look around and see what you are intrested in, there are a lot of graphics tablets avaliable.
