How can I remove light surface scratches from my cell phone?

Q. I have a Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy s3, and unfortunately I have too very light scratches on the screen. I've never dropped my phone on it's face so I have no idea as too how those scratches got there. Regardless to how they got up they're there now. Supposedly my phone has Corning's Gorilla glass 2 which is suppose to be tougher than the last one. So does anyone have any idea as to how to remove them?

A. Dont think you can remove them, but if you got a good screen protector,it might hide them.Best Buy sells a screen protector called Invisible Shield from a company called Zagg. It costs around 20 dollars for one protector, but it is guaranteed for as long as you own your phone.I have had one on my Samsung Galaxy S for a year, and it hasnt scratched,or came loose,it is a good investment if you plan on keeping your phone a while.

Original Question

will a screen protector for a different phone model work on my phone?
Q. My phone (the lg optimus logic) does not have screen protectors anywhere. I've searched multiple websites so I was considering getting one for a phone that's larger than mine, such as the galaxy s3 (http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php). will this work if I cut it down to the size of my phone?

A. These types of phone accessories normally come with a listing on the box of what model phones they are compatible with. While most smartphones these days look very similar to each other, there are subtle differences that make one type of protector incompatible with many phones.

Based on your question, you are trying to use a protector that is made for a larger phone on a smaller device. There is a very high degree of probability that the protector will not be compatible with your smartphone.

What's the best screen protector for the Samsung Fascinate a Galaxy S Phone?
Q. Some people have told me Zagg, others have said Realook, gorilla glass, and a few others. Could someone please help me find the right one? I'm looking for:

- Ultra clear. Won't affect brightness or touch screen
- Full screen. It doesn't just fit the LCD screen, but the whole front side including top speaker.
- Anti-glare and Anti-fingerprint.
- helps with scratches and keeps out dirt/dust

A. Hello, I don't know much about this but from the experience I had with screen protectors, I just wanted to share.
One the Glass on the Samsung Fascinate is Gorilla Glass so it already has some protection on but if you want better I would recommend Zagg or comparable brand. I've had lower quality screen protectors, the ones that cost around $5 or less and gets scratched real easy. When I was buying some for my Fascinate too I got a screen protector combo with charger, etc. and got scratched on installation, that was doing what it said to do. So I got the Zagg with some coupons and gift certificates, and has been great, so far there hasn't been any scratches. So I'll recommend Zagg.
