Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 running Android 2.2.1 and Darky's rom 9.2 which also means that the phone is rooted. I use it a lot for work and i usually make long days (7:45am - 11:00pm) but I'm always out of battery way before i go home. So my question is: how can i expand my phones battery life?
A. Hi i have this phone, i used to have this problem with it aswell, id go to work and by maybe say 4 o clock it would completely run out, what i did was install this app from the market, its called advanced task killer, basicly what this does is kill all the apps which are running in the background,( which you cant see), belive it or not, background tasks waste 47% of the battery!, also, do you have a live wallpaper? if u do id take that of, that wastes alot, and i mean alot of battery, also try and not play alot of apps aswell as that wastes alot of battery,
hope this helped as i had the same problem.

Should I get the samsung galaxy s3 or a different phone?
Q. I have Sprint and I am looking to buy a new phone in December. I want a good phone that has really good battery life. I know the galaxy note 2 has great battery life but that is not in my budget. So please tell me if the galaxy s3 has a great battery life. I have read a lot of reviews and there are a lot of mixed reviews. Some say that is last through the whole day easily and others say it only lasts 6 hours. So tell me how long it gets through the day and how much you use it in that day. And if I should buy something else.
Thanks.
A. Samsung Galaxy s3 is good it has a Standard battery, Li-Ion 2100 mAh
Stand-byUp to 590 h (2G) / Up to 790 h (3G)
Talk timeUp to 21 h 40 min (2G) / Up to 11 h 40 min (3G)
As far as i have used it starts to crash if you are running a lot of apps. but It has a longer battery life!
is it possible to cut battery charging time in half by having two batteries that do the work of one big one?
Q. the samsung galaxy tab takes 4 hours to charge but with two smaller batteries couldn't the charge time be cut in half to 2 hours? when batteries are "in line" and not "in series" are they the same as a bigger battery?
A. You mean "in parallel" or "in series".
Either way, if the total battery energy (in mWh) is the same, the charge time will be the same.
