A. Tablet computers normally do not have the ability to make cell phone calls. That is why they are tablets, not extra large cell phones.
The Samsung Galaxy 8.9 Tablet does not contain a telecommunications chip, nor the antenna to cope with regular cell phone calls. It can pretty much only do videoconferencing over wifi.

I have paint tool sai and photoshop on my laptop and i was wondering if i was to buy a Samsung galaxy tablet 8.9 would i be able to connect the tablet to my computer so i can use these programmes on the tablet ^_^; This is going to be my first tablet so i dont really know what im talking about but i just want it for drawing on :)
A. I think you are confusing a computer tablets like the Samsung galaxy, with a graphics drawing tablet, like the Wacom line. The computer tablets are small and not very good at running powerful art programs like Photoshop, and they do not have a very large screen, but are compete computers. If you are an artist and want to run powerful graphics programs, you would be best off with a larger desktop machine, and then add a graphics tablet that is just an input device for the computer, but it not a computer itself.

The fact you are using a laptop as the computer is ok, but a galaxy is not the way you should go I think.

Yeah you did help thanks. The problem is that when i insert sd card it goes into media scanning process. But the no end to the scanning.
A. UPDATE: I guess a factory reset could help with your media scanning problem, you could try reorganising both of your internal and external memory cards. You could also try buying a MicroSD with a higher class (like class 7, 8, 9 or 10) which would mean that it's read/write times are faster.
I guess as a last resort you could factory reset the device but that feels unnecessary.
So by "delete everything", do you mean?
1. All the user files including pictures, games, apps from Google Play, Amazon Appstore..
2. Everything including all the user files, system files, Linux kernel...
1. Except for the emotional loss of losing all your pictures of a cute labrador puppy and your progress on Angry Birds, there is nothing technically bad about deleting all those files. It's called a Factory Reset and I do it numerous times when I update my CyanogenMod ROM (though I backup first with Titanium Backup).
2. Would be stupid, not only would you need root permissions but you would be completely wiping all the software off your phone and would render it a useless brick.
