In the US, http://www.tsa.gov is the website for the transportation security administration.
If you are flying from another country go on the appropriate website for that country.
But generally, laptop in addition to the other items you mentioned.
If you have keys or coins in your pocket, remove those.
Your cell phone can go through packed in your carry on; you only need to remove it if you are carrying it on your person.
Ipad can go through in your bag.
If you are wearing a hat or sweatshirt, bulky sweater, coat or jacket, that needs to come off.
How do I not get jealous of my rich friends?
Q. I go to an expensive private school and basically everybody is rich! My family has money but we aren't rich. I had a great morning, since it is Christmas, I got some really awesome stuff but then I also got some cheap stuff that I didn't really like. I still appreciated it but I'll never use it. Then I went on facebook and all of my friends got ipads, hunter rainboots, beats, kate spade bags, and mac books. And they didn't just get 1 expensive thing they got a mac book AND hunter rain boots and a kate spade bag! Then they'll ask me what I got and I'll say "Well I got some really cute jeans, some cute shirts, and a leather jacket." And then they'll say, "That's it?" Some of them aren't my friends and they act like complete snobs. It drives me insane. They go on facebook and brag about all this fancy shit they've gotten and how there was so much more! They make me feel like I'm not good enough for them because I didn't great a 300 dollar burberry scarf. How do I not get jealous of them? They just make me so god damn angry! My parents work really hard and then I get told by my 'friends' that I didn't get a lot for christmas! It just makes me really sad.
A. Don't let them know it bothers you. Try to show your friends how happy and content you can be without material stuff...you'll be the one they envy if you can do this. Hope this helps.
