Why can't I upgrade my Android version on my Galaxy S?

A. Samsung will not be rolling out further firmware updates on your phone in this case. Take note the firmware rollout is also country dependent. Samsung is now focusing on S2 and Note and certainly country users do not even get the ICS yet.
Your only alternative to get a upgrade is to use cook Roms. Are u ready to root your phone for a new firmware?

A. I think you should rule out the black and the lime
Get either the blue, red, or the light pink those are really pretty colors
I personally would probably get the blue one cause it is a really pretty shade
