I would like to do this with out having to get her information regarding her account. Is there a way to do that? I was told there isn't and there currently isn't an offer for anything like a kindle gift card, but I was told this from a unreliable source.

Will the normal Kindle Cases work for the Kindle Paperwhite?
Q. I was wondering if the normal Kindle Cases work for the Kindle Paperwhite? Because I'm going to be getting a Kindle Paperwhite and there aren't many cases to choose from for it.

A. It differs from case to case. Some cases can support more than one Kindle model, but it'll specifically specified in those cases. You shouldn't get the cases that haven't specifically mentioned to fit Kindle Paperwhite.
Here are the sizes of the Kindles, there's some difference so only some cases will fit both:
Kindle Paperwhite: 6.7" x 4.6" x 0.36"
Kindle: 6.5" x 4.5" x 0.34"
