Q. I am thinking of buying a kindle fire HD and wondering where the best place to buy one is and also what accessories I need to get for it. Thinking of hooking it up to a tv too. Is this possible and what would I need to do that.
A. The Kindle is product from Amazon, so Amazon is definitely the best place. You'll get the best warranty service, free shipping, and most likely you don't need to pay tax if you get it from Amazon (you may get to pay additional tax if you get it in stores).
The essential accessories are listed on the right hand side of the Kindle Fire sales page below, and they come with special offer if you buy them together with the Kindle device:

Here are some accessories that you may need:
- Leather Case: To protect your Kindle, and be able to view the Kindle hands-free with the case stand
- Accelerated Charger: If you want to charge the Kindle faster
- Screen Protector: If you want to get screen of Kindle protected from scratch
- 2 years extended warranty: Can have your Kindle replaced, if you broken it accidentally within 2 years, up to 3 claims
- Stylus: To be easy to write on the Kindle, and reduce fingerprint
Yes the Kindle Fire HD has HDMI (it is micro-HDMI port) and you can connect it to TV for display. You'll need an HDMI cable, but you can get it after your device arrived (it's not in special offer, so no difference even you get it together).
Here you can find all accessories for each Kindle device. All item lists are in bestselling order, so it'll help picking the right accessories:

Hope this helps.
When there are so many ebooks and ereaders around is there a future for bookstores?
Q. I feel that after the nook and kindle came around it is really going to be hard for bookstores to exist and one example is borders which is in the process of liquidating it's assets. Do you agree with me?
A. Hi, book stores will exist for years to come but they'll either be smaller and making most of their money off coffee and accessories for eReaders or will include other merchandise on the floor. Barnes & Noble was very smart in trying to integrate its stores into the digital world making Nook experience as close as possible to physical books. Did you know that when you walk in with the Nook to Barnes & Noble store, youâre allowed to read any available eBook for free while in the store via free provided in the store Wi-Fi? With Nook, while in BN store you get exclusive articles from top authors, and great offers including cafe treats and unique deals.
Does the new Kindle 2 or DX come in any color other than white?
Q. I want to buy one that is actually colored, but all I can find are stickers to put on a white kindle.
A. Same here. I also want to buy a a black or deep blue color Kindle, but right now all the Kindles come with white case. And I know many girls want a red Kindle... Guess Amazon can boost up their sales if they really launch some colored Kindles ;)
My solution is to buy a really good case for it. I never leave my Kindle without the case, so I feel better... Here is the case I choose:

BTW, I love my Kindle 2 very much. If you are thinking of buying one, I'll say get it and you won't regret. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books (even for new books), it has saved me quite a lot of money. Right now I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don't feel tired.
I'll suggest you to read this review too, it outlines quite a lot of benefits of the Kindle:

And it is really good for you that Amazon just announced to chop the price of the Kindle 2 for $60. It is really a good chance for you to get it now:
