Q. I am getting a samsung galaxy soon, and I am wondering if the ear buds in the galaxy have the same plug as the apple product ear buds. My apple brand ear buds are beat and i dont know if i need to get a new one, or if the galaxy ear buds will work without shorting something out. Thanks for reading.
A. All headphones use the same standard 3.5mm headphone jack. No matter what headphones you buy and what device you have, they will all work because they use the same jack.
Just because it's Apple branded or Samsung branded doesn't mean they won't work on any other device.

Q. Okay so i have a samsung galaxy S2 and i have had for maybe 5 months and it recently started saying that its still charging when really it's not even connected to the charger like OMG! what's going on! Please help!! and also the worst part it that the battery drains like crazy!
A. Try pulling the battery, then put it back in and restart the phone. If that doesn't work, do a factory reset (your provider will help you if you don't know how). That should cure both problems. I think sometimes a conflict occurs in installed applications that causes a partial system crash, weird things like no sound from the speaker, but sound OK on the headphones, fast battery drain problems, GPS not updating position etc.
