Q. I have an android phone, samsung galaxy s3 just to start off.....
I am rambling on and on and I am sorry for that but I have to tell the back story before I can get to the actual question...And this seriously is a life or death matter. My life depends on this!! So please help me out if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am pretty smart about location settings inside my cell phone. I do not want anyone knowing where i am going or what I am doing day to day so I try not to leave any traces of anything, anywhere.
Today I got a message from my spouse asking me where I have been, that he sees locations and such.
We were using Viber if that matters and i accidentally turned on the location button which wasnt a big deal, or so i thought? I'm not sure...Anyway I turned it off when I noticed it was on. I do have a gmail account and I know google collects data about where you have been and whatnot and I cleared that and denied access to everything. I straight wiped my phone out completely with every setting I can think of, and from what I see...everything is deleted...
I am pretty sure I do not have any "secret" or hidden apps in my phone or cell phone plan that he could have installed inside my cell phone without me knowing about. He is currently out of the country and hasnt been in touch with my phone in over a month and even before that, he didn't touch it either.
So my question is... Is there anyway he can see these locations? And if so how? And where can I access them or see what the hell he is talking about and delete whatever he seen or didn't see?
I need to be 100% sure so please HELP!!!
A. Google Latitude or Facebook Places can show your location of you have GPS location services turned on. Also, some mobile carriers allow the account holder to be able to track phones (for example Sprint allows you to track the location of all your phones on your account for a free). Great for seeing where your kids go, or your employees go, or even a spouse, etc.
Returning phones at tmobile help?
Q. Hi, I recently bought the htc amaze and would like to return it for the Samsung galaxy s2. Do I need the box? Also my father will be taking me and he is on Verizon, and ny mom is the contract holder. Will this be a problem? Please help!
A. You need the account holder. You need the box and everything that was in it and you need to do it within the designated time period of 14 days.
My phone got wet, and it's not working right. Any help?
Q. Okay, so the other day my Samsung Galaxy Precedent got put in a cup holder, it was dark, and i didn't know that there was a small amount of liquid in the bottom. I put the charger end of my phone in the bottom of it, and now it says that it's constantly charging, even when it's not on the charger, and i have no signal, when i had almost full bars. Any help?
I put it in rice for 5 days, and still this happens....
A. i been working for verizon and at&t for over 9 years total i never heard of a rice technique. sundry and blow dry are techniques i've heard of that are pretty successful though. does it show any phsycial damage? because all phones come with a one year warranty. call customer service, just don't tell them you dropped it in water. give them some bogus story about how it just stopped charging all of the sudden, whatever story you use don't let it seem like it was your fault. they should replace it for your if they don't prove it was in water.
