No, the apps are not the same, because the iPad mini was made to use iPad apps, not iPhone/iPod apps. BUT you stll can download iPod apps on the iPad mini, they just may be oversized and a bit fuzzy, due to the fact that they need to be expanded to fit a larger screen. And yes, it should be easier to read because it's a bigger screen to see things better.

A. In my family we have the ipad 2 and 3. What is best about the ipad 3 is the size of the screen. What is best about the ipad mini is that it houses the latest generation processor. Unless you are a computer guru that will maximize the added horsepower the difference between the 3 and the mini is nil. I would say that is the bottom line between the two. In ether case you will enjoy it immensely.

Q. Hello, I am wondering If I can upgrade one of my mobile phone lines to a iPad or iPad mini with Sprint?
We have 3 mobile phone lines with sprint and only 2 are really used, the 3 is eligible for upgrade but that phone is never used. (Sits on a dusty shelf).
So does sprint offer upgrades to like an iPad mini with 3/4G Data coverage? Please let me know thanks.
A. I believe if you are eligible for an upgrade you can in fact upgrade or pay for the upgrade. If that doesn't work you could always drop the line if the two year contract is up and add the iPad mini to the plan.
