What are some recommended ipad apps for recording and editing music?
Q. Looking for an app that can record audio vocals+instruments with good sound quality. Do not have external mic or any external devices. Also want to edit it by recording 2 audios then combining (ie. First audio guitar+melody vocals, second audio of harmony vocals, which then possible to combine as one)
A. I downloaded an app called wavepad
And it works great try it out
What's the difference between a guitar for rock/metal and a jazz guitar?
Q. I play metal/rock usually but I may want to play some occasional jazz. Would I need a certain type of guitar?
A. The guitar is pretty much the same. You might have a challenge getting the right sound out of your amp though. I use an AmpKit Link and/or iRig with my iPad to tailor sounds. Any other good modeling amp can do he same though. You just have to smooth the sound and get more mellow.
