Q. I want to get this $50 unlimited deal they have, but the phones they have on there are pretty expensive, and not that good, to be honest. I want a new phone. It would be perfect if I could get an iphone 4s unlocked to work with it, but I hear that isn't possible. So which phones can I use? I want a new, decent phone. Nothing like the tack they've got on the boost mobile site.
A. iPhones will not work with Boost Mobile because the type of network they have is incompatible. Also Boost mobile phones don't use sim cards so it doesn't matter anyway.
If you want to go with Boost Mobile then check out the Samsung Galaxy Prevail. It's a really nice smartphone and is reasonably priced.

I was curious if anyone knew which is more compatible for straighttalk such as better service coverage and so on. A. No. The Straight Talk sim cards that come with the Straight Talk branded cell phones are "locked" to the phone that they are activated with. So they will only work with the phone that it was activated with.
If you live in an area that does not have T-Moblie and choose unlocked GSM sim card from the Straight Talk website, they will show you a AT&T sim card for your phone.
Straight Talk is trying to sell T-Mobile sim cards for their phones, because T-Mobile offers unlimited data. Straight Talk is no longer honoring unlimited data with AT&T sim cards. You will only be given 1.5GB of data per month with a AT&T brand Straight Talk sim card.
