Q. I just purchased one. When I compose a number all is fine: the back space key is there if I want to erase a digit. But if the call requires a further insertion of digits, such as a code for my Office answering machine, I have to press the keyboard icon and It appears without the back space key. In this case it is not so important but sometime I need to insert two digit series, the second after deleting the first, and this is impossible. Do you know an alternative method to delete digits?

Who is the Tablet computer designed for?
Q. Hi there.
I was looking at buying myself a Tablet computer for Xmas, but not really sure if I want to. I already have a Laptop, Desktop and a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. What is the target audience of a tablet, who buys them mostly? Im 22, male and struggling to see where it would be useful for me.

A. The answer to that question became very muddled within the past year. Historically tablet based computers were very good for people that had to do remote data entry (e.g., pollsters, production data collection, etc.) or those that used tools that were often manipulated by hand (e.g., drawing tools/sketching). In those cases the applications were design to accomodate quick data entry by interacting with the screen directly - most often sans keyboard.
Now, with the iPad, Playbook, etc. types of tablets these have introduced a level of machine that is great for gaming, browsing, etc.
However, reading your question again I believe you are interested in more the classic tablet. So, you'd want to get one if you have things you want to do that primarily do not need a keyboard.
What is a good handheld device for playing media?
Q. My phone doesn't support many formats, so I'm looking for something I can carry around for my music, pictures and video. I hate iPod, so I don't care what you say, I'm not getting one. I hate Apple, so don't recommend them to me. I'm just looking for a simple device, preferably with a camera on it that can support video capture as well as pictures.
