Q. I received a kindle for my birthday and I love it. Even though I love reading books in their physical form, some books are not available as such and the kindle is great for that. But sometimes I want to read that a good book that doesn't cost anything or at least only a few dollars. I recently read the Law of the Lycans series where all the books in the series were free and it was an absolutely spectacular series. I was just wondering if there was another series where all the books are free- or almost all- and has a good plot.

Here is the site. If you have just a kindle ereader then download the app to your laptop or tablet and transfer the books via a usb. If you have a kindle tablet like fire like I do you can download the free app right from the app store on the kindle fire. That way you dont need a computer and you can read kindle format books from your library or choose epub and read them right on the overdrive app on the kindle which is what I do. I read all epub books on my kindle on the overdrive app. If you have your local library card you can sign up now. The pin/pswd is usually your last 4 of your ssn or your library card or they ask you to create one.

What is the diffference between the amazon Kindle 3G keypad and the amazon kindle keypad?
Q. I am planning to buy a kindle, and I am debating over these two, but I dont really understand it....
I dont really need to go online and I have okay eyesight. Im mostly going to be listening to audiobooks and reading real books on it.
I have never owned an ereader before and am very eager to get one.
could I please get some feedback from someone who really has these ereaders?

Choose E Ink (Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard) if long-run reading is your priority; choose LCD (Kindle Fire) if apps/games/video/web-browsing is your priority. E Ink displays ebooks just like paper-based ebooks, using ambient light; LCD displays ebooks just like computer monitors, using back lighting. On the other hand, E Ink is only black-and-white and is too slow for video. LCD does great with those non-reading applications. Further, Kindle Fire has a sophisticated web browser, Silk, which leverages local and cloud storage and processing dynamically, thereby providing high-performance web browsing.
2. 5-way controller vs multi-touch vs keyboard
Choose 5-way to save money (base Kindle is only $79), multi-touch for easy-of-use, and keyboard for ease-of-typing.
3. WiFi vs WiFi+3G
Choose WiFi+3G if you wish to download ebooks or browse the web when away from a WiFi hotspot. An ereader with 3G support will be able to connect like a cell phone. Unlike a cell phone, however, there is no monthly fee for Kindle's 3G service. Note, though, that the web browser on Kindle isn't so great. Also, once an ebook is downloaded, neither WiFi nor 3G is needed to read it.
4. With Special Offers vs Without Special Offers
Kindle With Special Offers (WSO) Pros:
* $25 (WiFi) or $50 (3G) less expensive.
* May save more if special offers turn out to be useful to you.

How to get flash on kindle fire?
Q. I got the kindle fire on 2/3/13. I'm not sure which generation it is, but it's 8gb (if that helps at all). The only reason why I got it is because of my textbooks for school. Before you guys start telling me that I should've gotten another tablet, let me just tell you that I wanted the cheapest ereader out there. I am a college student and have other expenses to worry about. I am unable to download my textbooks because of flash. And I see no option to enable flash. What am I doing wrong?
A. The Kindle Fire is good choice, it's of reasonable price and you can do basically anything on it.
Your device should be the Kindle Fire 2nd generation. It's newly released by the end of last year. Since Adobe is abandoning Flash, all new tablets no longer come with Flash. You can still sideload Flash to the Kindle Fire, however. Here you can find the details:

One more thing is that it's actually more convenient to get stuffs from Amazon through your computer. It's larger screen on the computer so it's easier to look at reviews or to look into different products. On your computer, just get digital content (like Kindle books, video, music, apps, etc) for your Kindle Fire to your Amazon account. Those digital content will then appear automatically on your Kindle Fire (as it's also registered to the same account).
