Q. To cut a long story short, I bought a crappy screen protector for the same price as a good one, and my screen ended up shattering when it fell out of my pocket. The touch screen, color display still works fine - there are no issues when it comes to using the phone, the screen is just cracked. I was told this means I only need to replace the screen, not the digitizer.
This is a phone model that apparently is only offered through T-Mobile, so there aren't a lot of options out there. I can shell out $500 for a new phone, or I can try and buy a slightly cheaper unlocked one through a shady eBay seller. I found an LCD Display + Digitizer bundle for $200, but I only need one of the two. I found similar bundles for $150 on eBay, but I'm not sure who to trust. All of the sellers have mixed reviews.
I went to RadioShack and found out they have a $99 screen replacement program, but my phone model isn't supported. Also, I asked if I could bring in a new screen and have them replace it for me - they said they were unqualified.
Are there any cheap replacement parlors or options I can choose? I live in Chicago, IL - is there some awesome screen replacement dude I don't know about? What should I do?

A. Look under settings if you have "Mobile AP" or "Hotspot" fuction under Wireless and Network.
