Q. Is it possible to run a script on Windows Mobile 6 (AT&T Tilt) that will edit the Registry? I have a manual process that I go through every so often and would just like to automate it with a script.
A. yep in .net i presume u know the .net
in c# its

Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey key = new Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey();
key.CreateSubKey("what ever");
key.DeleteSubKey("whatever");
key.GetValue();
Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey key2 = Microsoft.Win32.Registry.CurrentUser();
key2.SetValue("whatever","value");
// etc u can access all the registry thro this

Is it possible to connect a windows mobile device in a computer without Active Sync?
Q. Is it possible to connect a windows mobile device in a computer without Active Sync?
Meaning is it possible to treat it as a flash drive? Or removable disk? I'll support answers that have anything to do with cracking it or changing the operating system around. :D
Thank You!!
A. windows mobile 6.1 and later devices (touch pro and better) give you the option of connecting as a disk drive or active sync at the time you connect them. mine is connected to my office computer as we speak as a disk drive. active sync hasnt been installed on this computer.
What is the difference between Windows mobile & the new windows phone?
Q. Is there a major difference between the two, in terms of OS? Functionality? Compatibility?
Is it misleading to use the umbrella term windows mobile, when in actual fact windows phone is different? (if it even is)

Yes. Just looking at the 2 will show how drastically different they are.
Try to look up an article comparing the two, but just to re-state, Windows Mobile & Windows Phone 7 are 2 different OS in basically every way
