Q. I have a iPod touch. The iOS was 4.2 so I upgraded the iOS to 6.1.3. Now that I try to sync my itouch only 4 out of 700+ songs show up on my itouch; however, all 700+ songs show up on my iTunes. In addition, when syncing my itouch, it looks like its not completely syncing because there are usually 6 steps it takes to sync. Mine syncing stops at 4 of 6 every time. What can I do to get all my songs and playlists back onto my itouch? Thanks.
A. If sync doesn't work then why use it? Just use manual management instead. I've used that for years and I always get the songs on that I want.
Some people have come to the conclusion that you can't use manual management on iTunes 11 or iOS 6, but I've done this with my spouse's iPhone 5.
