A. A book helps. There is a google code group you can skim and / or join. And there are many youtube howtos. Tools you can use include Eclipse and NetBeans. Both help you to code the java-like syntax and offer SmartPhone emulators.

Q. I need to interview an android developer for a career research project because I am interested in becoming one and we are required to get at least two interviews.
A. I will go ahead and tell you that they will say it is hard work. All of the different screen sizes make it hard on them.
