Q. I just got the new Samsung Galaxy S2 phone and it's right out of the box and hasn't been turned on yet.
Should I charge it first before turning it on? Do I charge it to full?
How long should I charge it for the first time battery drain?
Thanks!
A. switch off and charge your battery overnight(7 to 8 hrs) before using your handset for the first time(recommended).
android handsets containg li ion battery discharge quickly when they are new so try to use your handset on battery as much as possible without being connected to charger. you will start getting a good battery lifetime after approximately 25 days ...(this happens in most of the case)
Where could i buy a battery for a samsung galaxy s2?
Q. My new samsung galaxy s2 loses a charge very fast. I can unplug it from a charger and in under 15 minutes it will be at 85%, and the longest it will hold a full charge is 3-4 hours. Pls help
A. try Amazon. It's now available at a price of $9.71 :)
Does unplugging the charger from mobile before it's full destroys the battery ?
Q. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and lots of times my battery is still at 50% or something and I have to leave and take the phone with me. So does removing it from the charger could destroy the battery ?
A. nope. you're probably thinking of the old batteries they used to have for mobiles, the kinds that had a "memory imprint". the current lithium ion batteries they now use don't have that, so it's perfectly fine, and safe.
