Q. I have been looking for one at a good deal but I don really know what is a normal price for one or if I am paying too much. Please help me before I over spend for a cell phone!
A. $400 - $450 will be a good price for the factory unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3. If you need Samsung Galaxy S3 factory unlocked cheaper than retail, mail me to yanastorff@yahoo.com
Is there any possible way to get the Samsung galaxy S4 without 4G?
Q. My parents said they will buy me a cell phone but it cannot be 3G or 4G it just has to be a basic phone but I wanted to know if there was anyway I could get the Samsung galaxy S4 without 4G or 3G? And if there's not anyway is there a basic phone you can get but you can get wifi whenever you have wifi? Please help thanks!:)
A. Buy an unlocked android of some sort, there are some cheap ones. Just activate talk and text at a provider and use wifi for internet. You can find an android unlocked on newegg.com for pretty reasonable prices
Would a deposit be needed to open an account?
Q. I am planning to open up a single line account with T-Mobile having the unlimited data, text, and minutes plan for $70 a month. I would be leaving my parent's plan with the cell phone & number still attached to it. I have been working for three years though don't have any credit considering I have been paying for my college out of my pocket. Do you think I would need to put any money down as a down payment?
A. If you don't have a credit history but do have a job with a pay history, you may get around having to put up a deposit, but it is probable, if you get T-Mobile and sign a contract by buying a new phone, then, yes, you will probably have a deposit to pay, but that would be on the T-Mobile $80/month contract plan. $70/month is prepaid and you just use a T-Mobile or unlocked phone from another provider.
Please, consider this, though. You are in a perfect position to setup a membership with Solavei. It is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) with a contract for service through T-Mobile that gives you 4G data speeds if available in your network and by your phone. It costs you $49/month which you pay for ahead of time, but there is no contract and you will have no credit check required. If you go over 4GBs of data in a month cycle, though, you can be cut back to 2G data speeds for the remainder of the billing period. That being said, the best part of this for you is that:
1. you can bring any phone to the plan that is GSM capable, but the phones that have gotten the best service in the past were originally marketed by T-Mobile as the version of 4G they use is HSPA+ which they give on the 1700 and 2100 bands, and these are uncommon on many world and AT&T phones. This is changing, though, as T-Mobile is now bringing a LTE signal that is compatible with most all GSM phones on the 1900 band. This includes iPhones for those keeping track. Great bargains are to be had on used high quality phones on Craigslist, eBay, and from 2nd hand phone shops. Look for phones that are on this list http://www.4gcellunlimited.com/2013/01/09/current-list-of-solavei-supported/ I like the Samsung Galaxy SII (T989) and the HTC One S for overall value and performance/features.
2. if you share the service with your friends and family, you can save money each month on your plan. Share with 3 people and they will get the savings on the plan, and you will get $20 back every month on your plan. In fact, for every three you share with, you will get back $20 each month.
Yes, I am a member, and I am reimbursed for sharing, but I care more about the service quality as I do honestly need my phone to work for me and my business. Check my site to learn more and follow the link to sign up.
