A. samsung galaxy young, this one looks to be your best bet.
alot of it depends on where your at, (reception), and how much data you'll actually use each month.

Q. I want to buy a new smartphone but i don't know which one to buy .
i was about to buy iphone 4s , but i've known about the buttery issues so i was bit hesitated .
i used to have a very simple cell phone ( nokia X3 ) , but i think it's time to make a change :D
which one is the best to buy ..
iphone 4s ? samsung galaxy s2 ? htc sensation?
thanks in advance :)
A. the 4s no longer has batter issues after the most recent update (5.0.1)
i like the iphone because its easy to hack, and get free apps,
Samsung galaxy and the HTC sensation are also good phones, But isnt the HTC sensation windows?
stay away from windows phones, the only apps you can get are off of the microsoft store. and there not really that good anyway.
So, go towards the Samsung galaxy or the 4s :)
help me? cell phone question?
Q. Ok so I've been doing some phone hunting and I think I've finally found the phone I want. the Samsung galaxy appeal (this: http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-ph⦠). It is for AT&T, but I have TMobile. actually, every single phone I've looked at so far is for AT&T mostly because I don't have a data plan so I cant get a smartphone through TMobile, and also because I kind of like AT&T's phones lol x3 Sooo, I have heard you can just buy an AT&T phone, pop your existing TMobile simcard in and be good to go- no data plan or anything. That would be FABULOUS. But, does it really work? My mom was all skeptical like "well I don't want to buy the phone only to have this thing not work" and then suggested we call TMobile and basically tell them what we're doing and ask if it'll work. that wont ruin our plan, will it? like will they be all like "well now that we know what you're doing..." haha, idk, I think my mom just needs the reassurance that she's not going to spend $80 on a phone only to not have it work- she's really skeptical about the whole thing lol. ive been researching this whole thing for like months now though and i'm still not TOTALLY sure... so, will it work? I'm planning on buying one on Ebay- do I need to buy an unlocked one? or can I just get a regular one and unlock it myself? the first option sounds easier but I don't really know which is better... I just want to be assured it will work so that I can finally get a nice smartphone without a data plan. thank you! <3
A. T-Mobile won't care. And they won't mess with your plan if you reveal that you're doing something tricky. They have systems that recognize disallowed behaviors and that's how they identify people doing tricky stuff. Plus I didn't see anything in your question that seems like a problem. However, if you don't have data in your plan you won't be able to use the functionality that requires internet.
Call T-Mobile and tell the automated system you want to cancel your service. You'll get forwarded to a special group of customer service agents who are better trained and have more experience. Ask them if you can use an AT&T phone on T-Mobile by unlocking it. If so, then call AT&T and ask them if they will give you the unlock code for a Galaxy if you get one for another carrier. If anyone says no, call back and ask another rep just to be sure - sometimes they don't really know the answers.
Unlocking is usually a very simple process - you usually just have to enter a code in a certain way. AT&T might even walk you through the process even though you're unlocking their phone to use on T-Mobile.
