Q. I'm currently trying to find a screen capture app for my Galaxy Nexus so I can record myself drawing on my phone, or record gameplay of games I play on my phone, but as I've found out through numerous Google searches, screencast apps don't work with the Galaxy Nexus because of the frame buffer being empty all the time.
In this case, I was thinking of building my own screencasting app that could use the built-in screenshot feature of Android 4.x.x on the Galaxy Nexus instead of frame buffer to record frames of my phone's screen as I draw or play games. If so, how does the Galaxy Nexus take a screenshot? All I know is that the old, conventional method was to use the frame buffer to grab static screenshots, and in screencasting apps to record the screen. But, seeing as the framebuffer is apparently empty all the time, I'm curious to see how the Galaxy Nexus takes screenshots.
What I mean by screen capture app is something like Fraps or Bandicam for Android.
A. try looking up on the app store "screen shot" or "screen capture" and the app u find you see is ttally free
Do you think a samsung galaxy s3 case would fit my galaxy nexus phone?
Q. The Google galaxy nexus is almost the same size as the galaxy S3 so I wonder if the s3 case would fit on my nexus because I can't find a galaxy nexus case
A. No it wouldn't fit because the back of the two devices are different and you wouldn't be able to use the camera. But there are cases for the Galaxy Nexus that you can use
what are your thoughts about the apple against samsung case?
Q. so i heard about apple suing samsung for ripping them off with very close copies of the iphone and ipad.any thoughts about this?i personally have only used an ipad when testing it at best buy or other stores, but i have owned/used the samsung galaxy tablets often.when comparing them,i have seen major similarities and exact/almost exact replicas of some things.however i have never used the galaxy nexus smartphones or really used an iphone on a regular basis.but any opinions or arguments for or against either one?
A. Only Newton wondered why 'apple' should fall (and thereby hangs the tale of whole history of Physics), but everyone can see that apple falls only.
Murphy's law could be with a twist, "If a thing can fall, it will, someday".
